Gary Mix:

From his earliest memories, Gary had a passion for photography. He received his first hand-me-down Brownie-Hawkeye camera at the age of eight, with which he took as many photographs as his parents could afford to develop.

In seventh grade, Gary met a news paper photographer at the local boys club, who took him under his wing and taught him the basics of camera and lens mechanics, on and off camera lighting, composition, and darkroom developing.

In 1985, a local wedding photographer offered him a job as a helper and second shooter. For the next six months, Gary learned the business of wedding photography under the tutelage of a long-time master of the trade. From classic posses to photojournalistic snapshots, lighting and exposure, his work was critiqued and his skills were honed until his mentor felt he was ready. From that point on, Gary was first photographer at hundreds of weddings.

Since then, his passion for photography has grown as he has studied and progressed from film to digital photography. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to every wedding he photographs. Gary strives to capture the essence of the moment with the depth of it's emotion, and deliver to them in a timeless souvenir of memories that will last a lifetime.

Gary also brings extra experience in computer information technology which ensures that your wedding images will be easily accessible in our proofing section in a timely manner, as well as being archived and preserved through on and off site back up.

 

Linda Maze:

From her early years as a child in the desert of Arizona, Linda has always found excitement in sharing the beauty she sees in the simple moments and details of life. The desert captivated her thoughts as mental "snapshots," filling her mind with new worlds and experiences to explore. While pursuing her bachelor and masters degree, she was taught to master the concepts and techniques of design which apply to all arts (capturing/evoking emotion, composition, lighting, etc.), revealing a whole new method of sharing the world's beauty with others.

Having her photographic background in architectural imagery, Linda’s attention to detail far surpasses that of traditional wedding photographers, capturing details that may otherwise go unnoticed. Her creative, intuitive style coupled with unique artistic visualization ensures beautifully-unique recording of all of the details of your wedding from tablescapes to rings to special characteristics of your chosen locations.

With fifteen years of design experience, Linda has also finely tuned her skills in graphic presentation and digital post production, and has developed a methodology of truly understanding her clients' desires and incorporating them within her work. This allows us to provide you with one-of-a-kind, professionally composed Art Books and Fine Art Compositions for your home centered around your special day which showcase you and your new husband's unique personalities.
